Day 10– The Tour Resumes

Wednesday and Thursday were the best days off. Wednesday, a sunny day in the mid 20s, we went with a friend in a Mustang convertible to Peggy’s Cove and walked on the rocks. Thursday, we just took it easy.

Box of Delights

After lunch with my niece, the tour resumed with a trip to Wolfville up in the Annapolis Valley. What a pretty little town! And the bookstore where I was signing was really special. If you’re ever in the area, check out Box of Delights on Main Street. I sold a book to a man from Vancouver.

Still smiling!

I’ll be at Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth today as the tour starts to wind down.

  1. On my son’s birthday, Gayle kindly gifted me with “A Garden in the Wilderness” for my reading pleasure. Today I finished your book and what a delight it was to read! It was rich with not only the historical account of life for early settlers in N.S. but you made the family members so real – each with their own individual personalities as if you’d known them yourself. I was disappointed when the story ended!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.
