Ellon Garden

When I was doing family tree research, I found this in the Old Parochial Records of Scotland.

Susan Kirk Dean born 11/11/1787,  christened 18/11/1787, father John Dean, gardener at Ellon Castle, mother Susan Kirk, witnesses Matthew and Lavinia Henry.

So in 2000, I went to Ellon, not far from Aberdeen, and found the ruins of the castle and the garden still there after more than 200 years.
