New Year, New Life

I just got the news that my book Back to the Garden will be out by the end of January or early February next year. I can’t wait to hold it in my hands. I can’t wait for you to hold it in your hands, for that matter!

However, I am going to postpone the book launch until the end of March. There is the little matter of a new grandchild who is expected to make an appearance around the beginning of March. Since none of these dates  are easy to pin down, I risk having a conflict along the way if I plan the launch any earlier.

When I told my publisher about this little problem, he mentioned that he is expecting his first great-grandchild in January as well. Ah, new life! Nothing trumps it.
