Successful Book Fair

Here's me in full costume to sell my book Tea at the Empress with my favourite husband and help-mate, David Bray.

We had a great time at the first-ever "Read Locally" Victoria Book Fair held on March 18. During the day, about 250 people passed through to browse and buy books from over 40 independent writers and publishers. Even the local news station Chek-TV came around and we were on the five o'clock news. The energy in the hall was high as writers and publishers networked and got to know each other. You'd think we'd just come out of a pandemic or something!

Everyone expressed the desire to do it again and so I hope to organize another Book Fair in the fall. So, if you missed this one, keep your eyes and ears open. You won't want to miss the next one.
